The Railway Sports Promotion Board (RSPB) is hosting the 2nd Elite National Boxing Championship in 10 weight categories at Swarnabharati Indoor Stadium, Visakhapatnam, from October 24 to 30 in association with the Boxing Federation of India.

The 1st Elite National Boxing Championship was conducted at Guwahati last year. Shyam Kumar of Waltair Division of East Coast Railway (ECoR) had bagged a silver medal in the 49-kg category in the championship last year and Indian Railways stood runners-up.
